Internet marketing is big! ok? it’s big and it’s getting bigger, that’s just the truth of it.
It’s also full of other marketers, people who are trying to sell you something, and for the most part, these people are very very good at it! So while you are trying to build your own path to wealth, all your new ‘colleagues’ are subliminally trying to make you become their customer and in doing so, relieve you of some of your money.
Having said that, the cost of entry to this business is low, so low in fact that if you play it smart and aren’t sucked in by too many promises of instant wealth, you can start building a business for very little… we’re talking a lot less than $100 a month (you can do this properly for less than $30 if you play it really smart).
But you must be patient and not expect to become a millionaire overnight… even if that is what the ‘Guru’ launching his latest and greatest marketing system is trying to promise you.
Sure you could get lucky, you could happen to get into the right market at the right time and clean up. A few marketers manage this, but only a few. For the most part the marketers out there earn a nice income, certainly enough to replace an earned income and it’s easy, but not easy to begin with and another trait they all share… they never give up!
The single biggest reason for people not making it in internet marketing today is not that they follow a system that doesn’t work, it’s that they try something that doesn’t provide the immediate results they were promised, so they become disillusioned and give up.
If you decide to devote some of your free time to this internet marketing thing, every morning when you get up you must help yourself to another large bowl of Don’t Quit!
This, coupled with an eagerness to learn and the ability to keep your hands in your pockets when you read about the latest and greatest new system that will put millions in your pockets in three and a half seconds flat!
You will encounter systems that a) do not work, or b) do not suit you
IT HAPPENS!
Deal with it, get over it and move on… but don’t quit!
